1. Wellbeing of dog(s) and Safety of Dog-Doo Dolly Professional

Dogs are inherently territorial and protective, so the wellbeing of your dog(s) is paramount to me. The calmest, confident dog can experience anxiousness, especially when strangers visit. There is also Dog Law to take into consideration and that the owner’s liability doesn’t just apply to public areas, liability also applies to private places. Therefore, in the interest of dogs and their wellbeing, they will be required to be contained inside the house, upon entering the garden, whilst poop scooping and leaving the garden. If a dog is running loose, I won’t enter and the client will still be charged.

If however, client chooses Regular Visit Bookings and over a period of time, the dog and I get to know each other, it would be wonderful to have a moment or two with your dog, once the poop scooping has finished.

Ensure gate locks, handles, latches are adequate, I won’t be held responsible for dogs escaping to faulty gates and improper enclosures.

2. Access & Safety

A seamless entry and exit to a garden, preventing risk of injury is a necessity. I won’t hop or climb over fences or gates, or be expected to do any unsafe activity to gain access to the garden. If I’m not able to gain access, the client will still be charged.

I will provide a poop scoop service in almost all weathers, however, if the weather puts my safety at risk then I will reschedule either time or day of appointment.

I will poop scoop in the rain, however, not torrential rain.

Winter, ensure walkways are clear of snow and ice. Ensure gate locks and handles are not frozen. If access to garden is unsafe because of snow and ice, I won’t attempt access and the client will still be charged.

3. I Can’t See The Poop, I Can’t Scoop It.

I only poop scoop what I can see to the very best of my ability. Gardens that are unkept, long grass, overgrown, will negatively impact the poop scoop service. Fallen leaves, I’ll only poop scoop what I can see. Snow, I’ll only poop scoop what I can see. I won’t move furniture or obstructions, I won’t crawl under trampolines or decks to poop scoop.

4. Service Times and Days

I’m unable to provide specific timed visits because of many variables. I offer time frames that can fluctuate because of the many variables that can occur within the timetable frame and whilst on route. Establishing routes according to addresses and frequency of visits helps me to keep the prices low.

Life can sometimes get in the way of daily routines, so from time to time, I may need to reschedule or change times and days. This is at my discretion and notice will be given together with rescheduling options.

5. Waste Disposal

Poop is doubled bagged and put into the domestic/general waste wheelie bin. Bins must be accessible, if not, bagged waste will be left for client to bin. I cannot walk dog’s waste through a house to a bin, this is an environmental restriction.

6. Billing/Payment

Single Scoop Bookings, are same day payments, either cash or bank transfer

Regular Scoop Bookings are invoiced every 4 weeks. More detailed tariff of regular visits below.

No refunds, my time and travel has been allocated. Should an appointed day and time frame need to be cancelled, a reschedule will be offered.

7. Marketing Material

Unless prior arrangements have been consulted and agreed, all clients automatically give Dog-Doo Dolly permission to use images/photos of service on the website, social media and other marketing materials.

8. Client Cancellations and Changes

24 hours notice must be given when cancelling bookings and regular visit booking contracts by text or WhatsApp message or email.

9. Gaining or a loss of a dog

Please let me know if you increase the number of resident dogs or if sadly a dog is of loss.
